Public Transport

At Townsend, it is easy to get from A to B with ease because we are situated in the centre of Perth City. There are great public transport services available (including buses, trains and ferrys), which can be explored on the Transperth Website (including timetables and journey mapping). There is a free public transport service known as the CAT (Central Area Transit), which stops just behind Townsend Lodge. Details of those buses can be found here.

Airport Shuttle

There are Airport Shuttles available which service the Perth CBD (including Townsend Lodge). They cost is approximately:

  1. AUD$11 from the Perth Domestic Airport
  2. AUD$13 from the Perth International Airport

These shuttles are generally waiting for each incoming flight, however, they may be contacted on +61 8 9475 2999 for further enquiries.

Alternatively, for the domestic airport only Transperth bus #37 will take you from the airport to Townsend Lodge.

taxis

Taxis are a great alternative to public transport if you need to get somewhere quick. There are a number of Taxi services available in Perth, including Swan Taxis. In Western Australia, they can be booked by calling 13 13 30 anytime.
